You’re Invited to a Friday Field Trip!
Over the past three weeks I’ve shared in depth about three big (counter cultural) premises of regulation – community, feeling our feelings, and resting. None of these solve life, but they help us to cope with the ups and downs of life with more calm, ease, and effectiveness.
So how do we incorporate these powerful concepts into our lives?
Well, if you’re local to the DC area, I have a new in-person offer that hits on all these things (and more!) in an easy, fun, and supportive environment. (And if you can't make the in-person event, don’t fret! I’ll be offering a shortened virtual version for you too.)
Introducing Friday Field Trips!
Come take a day off work, or a day out of your regular routine, to talk about life, feel held in community, and laugh as we play with new perspectives and ideas around stepping into greater peace and abundance in your life.
The August Field Trip theme is Clarity 101.
I’ll be bringing you my best frameworks to help you understand what’s going on in your life and how to respond effectively.
You’ll walk away with a fuller cup, fresh insights, and the knowledge that you can plug back into this group over time to deepen your connection with yourself and others.
My intention with setting the Friday Field Trips as regularly held events is that it provides a built-in community aspect. (Mark your calendar for our next Field Trip on Oct 17th!)
One of my strengths is creating a safe, accepting, high connection container where it feels normal and comfortable to both share what’s up for you and hear what’s going on for other people. This is the part that will help you connect to and process what you're feeling naturally and at your own pace.
While there will be plenty to do during the field trip, there will also be a segment of free time for any sort of rest you’re needing. Listening to your body and making choices based on that knowledge will be highly encouraged. This will give you access to rest, in whatever form you need.
We’ll also be walking (about 2.5 miles throughout the course of the day at an easy pace), engaging with fun coaching and activity exercises, eating good food, spending time together in kindness and laughter, and generally making life better together over time.
It may be a little ironic that this career coach is encouraging you to play hooky from work on occasional Fridays, but that’s what I’m doing. The work will be there!
Give yourself a Friday off. (Bonus! You’ll still have your entire weekend to do as you please.)
